A special animation, made for our 10th anniversary!
I wanted to share this video with supporters on Patreon before posting it publicly on Twitter, FB, and the DZO site later in the week.
This project took a while to finish, but it was a lot of fun to do! Long time supporters may notice some footage was recycled from a previous DZO animation--but we completely recolored those sequences to match the VHS aesthetic.
Our goal was to try and match the look of '80s/'90s anime, especially the OVAs of the era, and giving the footage that 'soft' analog appearance was a big part of it.
Several artists worked on this, including Kshatriya, Kimi, and Hinca Productions.
