We wanted to share a small win with you
There was one thing that had been annoying us for a long time, and we’ve finally fixed it. Because of that, the simulation is now really stepping up to the next level.
Before, we had a single shared physics and constraint setup for all poses in the game. That meant we constantly had to make compromises - trying to make things look “good enough” in one situation without breaking something in another. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t, and it’s been bothering us for a while.
Now that’s much simpler.
We’ve finally split things up: each pose can now have its own physics and constraint settings. This gives us a lot more control and removes the need to force everything into one universal setup.
To see how it feels, we went back and reworked 12 older poses using the new approach. The result turned out really nice - movements feel more alive, interactions are more stable, and overall everything just looks noticeably better.
We’re happy with how it turned out and wanted to show it to you.
