A few review updates
Thanks to reader feedback we have made a few updates to the review.
1. It was pointed out to us that the ECO and Standard preset modes allow the screen to remember different settings for SDR and HDR. This is a massive improvement over our previous experience where you had to switch between different modes. This also overcomes the bug where peak brightness in HDR was not being remembered. We have no idea why this doesn't work for the other preset modes like Custom 1 and the game modes, but our recommendation is to stick with ECO mode and configure SDR and HDR from there. it makes everything a lot easier. We've updated the HDR section of the review to account for this.
2. we've added a pinned comment to our best settings video to reflect this change too. You can still follow all the rest of the guidance, you just don't need to worry about configuring two different preset modes and switching between them any more :)
3. we also updated the calibration section of the review, calibrating the screen in ECO mode as well which oddly produced better colour accuracy results than we had obtained in custom 1 mode. Also a good improvement. Newer ICC profile now uploaded here.
4. We have added clarification in the review that the screen does support HDMI ARC sound output as well as Bluetooth audio connections. that makes life easier for external devices and games consoles, although still a bit odd that a headphone jack was omitted.
