This is a short update on the status of development on Inherit the Earth: Sand and Shadows.
Progress on the creation of character animations has slowed significantly. Reasons vary between the artists involved.
One animator has not provided any updates in months and is not responding to my emails. I'm seeking a replacement, as those who are following the Inherit the Earth webcomic may have noticed the "want ad" there for a 2D character animator.
The other animator is still involved, but has been sidelined by personal matters. Recently she has returned to working on the project though. She delivered the image included with this report, which is concept art for Sakka and another ferret. She has also sent me a rough work version of Sakka's forward walking animation.
