Newsletter 📰 July 2026

Greetings dear patrons one and all!! Hope you guys are all having fantastic summers wherever you are (or winters, depending!). Here's the monthly update about everything you can expect from me and my art:

🥬This month:

I am working on this spooky scene of a new character in the D&D-inspired fantasy universe, whose elements are CHAOS+SHADOW! He's a spooky evil monster boy, and he's real big and real horny. And a poor lone guardsman on patrol in the alleys of the city at midnight is the perfect prey for him... oh no, the poor guard! Should we call for help? Or... not.. 😈

I am ALSO working on an entirely different painting to have ready for early next month - and that is a 4-year anniversary special for patrons who have been supporting me for 4 years straight!! Don't forget that I also send out anniversary specials to patrons who reach the 1-, 2-, and 3-year milestones also!! I send out DMs at the start of each month with links to the artwork to those patrons who hit a membership milestone that month. I'll never share these paintings anywhere else, the membership milestones are the only way to get em, they're meant to be a special thank-you gift to those of you who have supported my art that long.

🥬Next month:

Decided that it just wouldn't be a proper summer without celebrating Coach Dad doing something outdoors and summery!! So to that end, I'm gonna do something I've wanted to do for ages, which is repaint the very first scene I ever did with his character - the one where he's on the back deck grilling burgers.🍔 I have always loved the concept of that scene but hated the execution, and I think after 5(ish) years of developing my painting skills, I can do a lot better!! I'm going to embrace the concept but probably rework the composition.

Aside from that I'd like to think in advance about developing the Seamus/Eddie/Kal storyline in the following month, and I believe I'll do a poll for the high-tier patrons to get your opinions on which character you'd like to see me focus on for the next installment in that universe.

🥬September:

We'll be returning to the Seamus/Eddie/Kal universe in September and focusing on whichever character(s) win the poll in August! There's a lot of tension building lately in their world and it'll be interesting to me to see which angle you guys want to examine that from.

We haven't done a Character Q&A in a while now, and I think September will be a good time for another one!! Not sure who will be the subject quite yet, I'll decide that in August. Maybe it will overlap with the winner of the poll? 🤔

That's the art update - lots coming up and hope some of it interests each of you. IRL I've been a bit blue lately, any of you guys have experiences with SSRI meds that were positive and you want to share? I've been bouncing between a couple options over the past year and it's been a mixed bag!! The bag has been decidedly mixed and full of side effects. Maybe someday someone will develop a miracle drug without any side effects and then we can put that shit in the reservoirs and enter a blessed golden age of humanity ✨

Wishing each and all of you an excellent summer full of happy days and exciting things to look forward to! I will be enjoying a beach day tomorrow and super excited about that 🏖️ and then, painting away to create a fun and spooky scene to share with you guys!!!
