So someone recently asked me about Serana “feeding on the player” as a feature. My knee-jerk answer (and my stance for a long time) has been no, because routine feeding can easily clash with the Serana I’ve written for SDA. It's part of the reason why I added the blood potion feature in the first place.
That said... I actually sat with it for a bit, and I can see a version of this that might work without breaking her character, as long as it’s done the SDA way: consent-forward, ethical, tender, and grounded in intimacy rather than “vampire convenience.”
I'm not considering daily or routine feeding or anything that treats the player like cattle, or anything that undermines consent or Serana's moral boundaries. No nagging gameplay loop too.
Here's what I am considering, if it happens at all. A romance-only, in-private, mutual moment - written as a rare, intentional intimacy beat. Think: tender + earnest, possibly playful/teasing, and (optionally) a tasteful “spicy” tone depending on your preferences and how far the relationship has progressed.
This would likely be implemented as dialogue/scene flavor (and maybe light animation support), not a mechanical “system” that constantly triggers.While I am doing a lot of stuff for the SDA sunset updates and I'd rather not take new stuff, this could be an exception. If ever I do it, it'd be manageable in terms of scope. What I'm asking about now is if it works creatively.

If enough people feel this can be done in-character, I’d implement it directly as part of SDA’s romance path.
Option B - No, not at all
Keep Serana’s “no feeding” line firm and consistent, full stop.
Option C - No for main mod, but yes as an optional file
Main mod stays unchanged, but an optional add-on exists for people who want that romance flavor.
