Hey everyone. I hope you're all doing well!Last week, Gaijin announced the next War Thunder major update, Ninth Wave. As usual, I'm here to make a quick post to announce what to expect with this next update to IASM. I’m making this post slightly earlier than usual. As announced with v15.0, I’ve finished working on a new modding method that avoids the need for masterbank files while still allowing the addition of missing sounds from major updates.With this new method, I plan to release new IASM updates on the same day as War Thunder major updates. That means no more waiting for weeks after a major update for compatibility and new features, unless Gaijin makes significant changes to their sound configuration, which doesn't seem to be the case for this major update. Please keep in mind, however, that this strictly applies to IASM only, and that for those who mix IASM with RCSM, RCSM may have different plans and a different timeframe for updates. Please follow their news channels for accurate info and updates on their mod.Now, about the new additions in v16.0,This update will continue to expand on the country-specific VWS systems. It will feature brand new French and Italian Voice Warning Systems. These are once again fully licensed from paid professional voice actors.Besides that, there will also be other additions, such as new RWR tones, MAW tones, other smaller tweaks/additions, and bugfixes.
