Hello! The Patreon tiers now have new names and icons for a fresh coat of paint on this entire page coming up in August! I've put a lot of thought into it, and this is the lineup I've come up with to benefit both parties with the highest quality outcome. The images above summarize these changes for you (please view them first before reading), and read further if you want a more in-depth explanation:
"What can we expect for July's content, then?"
RAIL Vol 1 covers, comic character's official stat/reference sheets, a completion of current commissions, a YCH or 2, and new merch design.
Now, this one is important: Starting in August, Party for 2 (the current side comic) will be accessible to ALL paying Patrons. The side comic is being moved into Main Comic territory.
"Why are you moving the side comic to a main comic?"
When I first started running a main comic AND a side comic at the same time, I was a fresh grad without a lot of responsibility and more time to spare (almost a decade ago). Now that I am more established and have to take care of an entire house, family, garden, and animals, the workload just isn't feasible anymore on top of all the other artwork I do outside the comics. I've been struggling so badly to keep up with two stories at the same time, and I need to make adjustments for the benefit of both myself and you as a Patron.
There will only be ONE long-form running comic starting in August and beyond (excluding mini comics). I will NOT begin RAIL Vol 2 until I finish Party for 2 (which will run approximately 20 pages, currently on page 8).
"How long will we have to wait for RAIL Volume 2 to start?"
Because Party for 2 is not in color, I should be able to bang this out relatively quickly and complete this comic in time for the originally planned kickoff of RAIL Vol 2 around fall (October/November). My goal for working on only one long comic at a time is so that you all get faster pages at a higher quality. When I didn't finish Mark's side comic "Springing Back", it killed me. It STILL bothers me. I refuse to let that happen again, and the only way for me to ensure that you guys get 100% completed stories is if I focus on one at a time from start to finish.
On a higher note, bringing the polls back! 🎉 Years ago, I frequently posted polls for Patrons to vote on, which was a lot of fun for folks (but then I ran out of room for them as my responsibilities racked up). I am purposefully making room in my schedule for you to have a say in what gets made again! I'm really looking forward to it :3
On the highest tier, I decided that this is reserved for my most vulnerable posts. All art featuring my fursona and personal content will reside there. I have a lot of unposted writing and raw personal work with nowhere to go, and this gives me an outlet to share these works while keeping the rest of the Patreon more on-theme to the comic universes.
