This is a segment of the Woke Brands vid I removed, all about the guy who tweeted the picture of his razor in the toilet.
I went back and forth on whether to put this part in the video for ages - in the writing stage I looked deeper into his channel, found stuff I could make fun of, and wrote it down just in case. A lot of it felt unrelated to the video's theme itself, and I feel like I've been very bad with long tangents lately. In an early draft of the video I had a stronger theme of self-care and time management and had a joke where I limited myself to 'only three needless tangents', with this being one of them, but then that direction added far too much extra stuff to the core of the vid so I took it out, and with it any real justification for this to be in there.
There's a certain amount of humour in leaving in a long tangent, I'm still super happy about the last-minute decision to leave like ten minutes of Jekyll analysis in the Sherlock video, but this didn't seem like it added anything. That said I think it's quite funny on its own. Crystal, the script editor for this video, was very sure I should take it out as soon as she read it, and she's usually right.

Really happy with how it went and the stuff we came up with on the fly, and hopefully it gives a better look into ~the process~. I wanna do more stuff like these! It's fun streaming directly for patrons and sharing things like that.
