I hope this post finds you well. Here I'll address the circumstances that have kept me from updating Patreon in December.
Thank you sincerely for your patience with me. I'm sorry to have put you all in this position: as a person, I pride myself on being thorough, communicative, and punctual; however, in mid-December, my father suddenly suffered multiple heartattacks and, with no hope of survival, had to be put to rest. As you may imagine, this took a heavy psychological and emotional toll on me, precluding me from sending messages not only to patrons of mine, but even to loved ones and family. It took over a week for me to come to terms with all that had happened - then Christmas and New Year's came, each accompanied with new and profound feelings in the wake of my father's passing. Only now am I beginning to feel somewhat myself.
Since the emergency, I have drawn only a couple of pieces, solely with the intention of finding some inner peace during these tough times. I did not work on any commissions, nor did I update my Patreon as I usually do. As I sort through my father's belongings and coordinate with family how to proceed with ceremonies, medical bills, contacting lawyers, and distributing assets, I'll be slowly but surely resuming commission and Patreon work.
I also hope to shift to a new model of posting:Each month's poll will determine the artwork I draw for the FOLLOWING month - this will give me more time to fulfill each month's poll results, as well as help me better retain patrons. (January's polls will determine what I draw and post in February; February -> March, and so on.) I will draw something for you all this month, probably something Pkmn-adjacent (as usual) as well as post new polls for February within the month.
