I told discord I was thinking of two short stories this month, but between the potential length of this one and my upcoming schedule for the rest of the month being a lot busier than I expected even just a week ago, this will I think this month will probably be just this one longer story.
But if experience from last year carries through to this year, I'm at least a little more productive when I'm visiting my parents' place for the holiday season, so hopefully I can pump out some more content next month.
Regarding this story itself, I found some inspiration to expand on this very short concept I came up with years ago. This first half is generally close to the original concept, but my plans for the second half will quickly get a bit more wild and dark. Hopefully I can bang out the second half this week before I have to travel next week, but we'll see what happens.
update 12/8: part 3 added. A part 4 will be necessary to wrap things up, though how long or developed it’ll be, I’m not sure yet. I know what I want to happen, just have to develop it to see how detailed it’ll be.
update 11/21: part 2 added. I will probably need at least a part 3, if not a part 4 to finish what I have planned for this one. Parts 3 and/or 4 may have to wait until December, since how much time and energy I'll have over the next week and change is going to be very hard to predict.
