January 2026's status update and what I've been up to recently.
The first month of the new year is over. How has it been?Well, half and half for me. The first half of the month? I got sick bad. I was coughing and hacking so much there were some nights I couldn't sleep. I missed so many days of work being stuck in bed, sometimes not feeling good enough to even write or read. Only now to I feel over three-fourths better.However, in that time and the rest of the month, I feel like things were actually good. I got a ton of work done! Two big commissions got wrapped up or close, new outlines were written, several stories were started and even finished, and things going into next month seem even better. I feel on a roll!I've also been making a lot more YCH TF stories. I still have many commissions from last July that need focusing on, but I also wanted to have some options open for people interested in getting my writing. So, I put together smaller outlines for much smaller TF projects that are easier to write and are more affordable. I feel they've been pretty successful to where even when I reopen for regular commissions, I'll keep having these as simpler, cheaper options for interested people.So between how much I've written and the YCH stories I've developed, I feel in a great place. Plus, I don't feel as sick anymore, so that's very nice.I'm hoping next month to reopen the polls for you all to choose the next story for me to write. It's been long enough, and I'm sure there's some tales you're mighty interested in seeing come to life.And that's about it for this month in terms of updates. I'm hoping to keep things going strong into the year with plenty of more great, transformative tales! See you all next time!
