A preview for an upcoming Elephant Fruit TF, featuring some space princess TF fun! Enjoy!
“Here’s your cup!” The woman behind the counter handed the large, plastic cup over to Travis.
He gave it a look and smiled internally. Sweet, Rosalina! The space princess in movie form was wrapped around the cup, floating on by with a smile and wave of her wand.
“Enjoy… oh!” the concession stand lady quickly added, “Certain, select cups have special prizes attached to them.” Travis curiously looked at her and then back at the cup. He looked in it, under it, and spun it around.
Nope. Nadda. Guess I didn't win. He was fine with that. He was just happy to have his cup. He might buy a few others too if he had the money later.
The young man was at his local movie theater for the opening day of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Well, it was not the midnight premiere and the morning after, but it still counted to him. Plus, it was less crowded and less hectic as a nice bonus.
Coming right away also made it so there was still plenty of merchandise to buy. Besides the cups and popcorn buckets, there were also plushies, key chains, posters, and the works! His theater was really stocked in Mario Galaxy merch. He was definitely going to have so much to choose from and buy.
Though, that was for after the film. He was more than happy with just having this cup for the moment. It was a pretty good one too! It was made from a strong plastic with the image itself a part of the cup instead of being printed over it like some past movie cups he’d gotten. It might actually be dishwasher friendly even.
Travis took his cup over to where the drink machines were in the lobby, thinking about the movie he was going to watch. Really hope this is good! I mean, it should be, right? The last one wasn't bad, and the trailers looked fun. Should be great just seeing Rosalina and Bowser Jr.!
He approached the slushie machine, free and open for all customers to use (he always thought the theater was too trusting with letting people have free reign of it). His eyes were already on the blueberry option, his usual flavor of choice.
But that's when he noticed something new, something that took him aback so much that he had to say it outloud. “Elephant Fruit?”
Elephant Fruit was a power-up from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and it was now a flavor of slushie listed amongst all the others. It even had a picture of the fruit right on the label, as if to confirm that it was real.
Travis couldn't help but find this odd. Not that having a flavor like this was odd in and of itself. There were always fun, little movie-branded flavors popping up, like for Wicked 2 or Zootopia 2. He just found it weird that thia power-up was going to be in the movie given that it wasn't even from any of the Galaxy games or hinted at in the trailers.
Still, Elephant Fruit Smoothie had him awfully curious. What did that power-up exactly taste like? He had to know!
He filled up his Rosalina cup high, putting a lid on it and stuffing a straw into it when he was done. He could already pick up a strong, fruity aroma from it. He couldn't exactly identify what fruit, but it did at least pass the smell test for him.
Though, there was something else to it: its feel. The cup naturally felt cold with the slushie in it… but, for a moment, it felt warm. There was a sharp rise, almost akin to gripping a toasty heating pad.
However, that sensation was gone as soon as it arose. It was so bizarre and quick that Travis thought he must've imagined that.
