Your choices can lead Aya to explore more than just the wilderness with her sexuality featuring heavily in this journey, which is convenient that our co-lead happens to be the “dusky jewel of the oasis” a woman who uses her sexual talents with expertise.
Our scenes have been described as scintillating, provocative, and also heartwarming. Developing and working off the story and characters, these scenes expand and explore the characters in ways that would otherwise be hard without the sheer vulnerability and emotional act of lovemaking.

Gold and Sand has become a stand-alone experience set a few short years before Avarice. Play either at your own leisure, but in Gold and Sand, you will discover more about characters from our titular game Avarice! Both set a distant 87 years before the events of the Price For Freedom webcomic. Playing Avarice now will make these discoveries fill the puzzle of who these characters are. Price For Freedom: Avarice is the project that started it all and brought Team Dead Deer into the development space. Take the role of Redic, a man far removed from his home, fighting to free himself of his past in the free city of Kaldea. This distant land that may be his last chance for life is threatened by the invasion of another city-state.
Redic quickly becomes embroiled in a criminal underworld, military conflict, and political machinations that he must navigate to survive and claim this last chance at life. Despite it all, he finds new reasons for life in the friends and lovers (often one and the same…) he discovers in these lands giving him the reasons to stand and fight for this new beginning.
