i really liked the composition of this photo and thought it'd be funny to paint it relatively realistically and then just make allan almost 1-1 with the show design. for the rare painting pieces like this, i like to do everything in procreate on my ipad - it's particularly good for that sort of thing. the big thing to keep in mind with digital painting is to treat it like real painting - the "painterly" effect comes about from everything being on a single layer - your canvas.
don't expect too much more like this any time soon - i think it's also funny that its so out of place with everything else on my account lol.
