DESCRIPTION
first 30min was a warmup study, rest of video is sam does man :) I was pretty inspired by the rendering style of arcane here. I know the final result doesn't necessarily look like an arcane character hahah but my main focus was on the way the show uses hard and soft edges in it's character rendering. Especially on the various planes of the face. it was actually super satisfying to try to examine and carve out almost every single anatomical detail on his face, reference is attached! But if you take a look and compare between my work and the ref, you can see I took a lot of creative liberty haha! :) Anyways, love you guys!
