DESCRIPTION
One of my new favourite pieces! I based this off of a few references, one for the pose/lighting, and others for the texture and reflections of the armour on our knight character. It's very important to capture the reflections accurately for a shiny surface to look believable. In this video you'll see me use the eyedropper tool on the environment surrounding the character, and then apply that colour onto the armour. The surrounding environment's colours and values are all reflected in the surface of the armour. References attached! :)
