Oh man...!! There's a lot to talk about, right? If you've been following me on Twitter, you probably already have a rough idea of what's been going on. A lot of things happened: I learned some new skills, and relearned some others. Good things happened and awful things happened. I got COVID, sustained permanent damage from COVID, and then spent a month re-life-affirming myself by cycling until my abs burned; then there was a death in the family, and I spent another month cycling until my everything burned. I come to you happy to report that I did in fact outrun death; however, one thing nobody can outrun is their own project deadlines.
Well, it's 45 minutes until the end of the month as I write this, so here's something full-heartedly half-finished: All 9 pages of the Animal Girlfriends Comic... in pencils-only form. It should be perfectly readable, though it's very unpolished; it's also very obvious that there was a several-months gap between drawing the first set of pages and the last. However, I'm all about embracing imperfection right now (see paragraph 1 of this post for why)!! Find a zip file full of 9 full-resolution PNGs attached to this post!!
Next month, we're going back to square one. What does that mean? Well, I'll tell you all about it... a little bit later. I've got 35 minutes to hit publish on this post!! For now, please enjoy this very nonstandard #content.
