So, thanks to everyone who gave me their support for my birthday, I was able to focus on my planned McCloud sequence without shelving it for the sake of commission. It still took me embarrassingly long to finish, I don't know what got on me but I still feel constantly tired and unable to focus on work properly, I hope it will be over soon. Thankfully month is still not over and I plan to finish more stuff before June.I got big ambitions for Fox the very first moment I thought that I need to draw something with him and I planned everything from the start, first it's gonna be a classic hyper dick pin-up (which I already made), then something inflation related and then something more hyper butt focused. I imagined everything as more light context-free pieces which I could unite as a series titled "McCloud's Sexy Shapes", discovering his sexiness from every angle and such, but then I got more complex thoughts and realized it's better to just make everything a separate idea.The changes in inflation idea came after I watched the movie itself.
Needless to say, it was a very nice surprise for me to see the Blimp Fruit power-up from a Super Mario Galaxy game, not only it gave us an HD Yoshi inflation scene but it also made me realize that now when Star Fox and Super Mario universe crossover became canon we can apply all the wacky stuff we love so much about Mario universe (I mean things we have a very special type of love for, like P-Balloons) to Star Fox characters and shamelessly call it 100% canon which is good since Star Fox universe is much more serious and has way less inspiring material for inflation and such, not to mention that it's mostly just a space shooter with a very little glimpse of the game's lore outside spaceship saga given in games like Star Fox Adventures. I mean yeah, Star Fox and Mario always were both a Nintendo franchise and characters from them appeared in Smash Bros but branding is just branding and Smash Bros has no plot and respectively not much impact on the lore. This movie is what REALLY pushed it further.So, obviously I decided to take advantage of it and I'm surprised nobody did it yet. Mostly all the recent Fox fan art that was popping up thanks to the movie was just based on Star Fox lore instead of taking advantage of the very idea of Star Fox x Mario crossover, as if all that movie did is just reminded people to draw more Star Fox, not even using movie's new expressive character design, I was expecting more Fox x P-Balloons art at least or something like that but no. Well, this is why my art exist. I thought it's just funny to imagine Fox interacting with all the wacky flora of that childish Mario universe he is absolutely not used to after living all his life in a way more... "real" universe, you know. Obviously he'd never expect that a single nice looking tasty fruit can instantly turn his body into a goddamn blimp! Just like any of us if we were on his place. But also who'd imagine that these sensations can be so overwhelming in a good way?...This scene turned into another big and seemingly endless task for me. If previous piece had Fox just fully naked then this one was all loaded with details. I love detailed clothes which highlight character's unique look and I love to fumble with them a lot, not to mention I just love suited inflation/weight gain but man, Fox's uniform has so much to care about I thought I'll go insane, I had to closely look through so many screenshots to understand how every tiny detail of his uniform works here. Not to mention the forest background as well but it was less painful. I admit it still could be done MUCH faster and I can't blame such a long absence on just this, it's mostly the fault of my bad mood regardless but still.It's also one of those rare cases when I thought it's better to keep this idea sfw without any dicks popping out, like, it doesn't really fit here with all honesty. It automatically gives this scene less potential for horny edits of course, for me this part is more like a warm up.And yeah, another reason why I rejected the "McCloud's Sexy Shapes" series idea is that the inflation idea became its own sequence and this is supposed to be part 1. I want to make it 3 part and hoping to finish part 2 before June. Fox is gonna swell MUCH bigger so most of his clothes will be completely ripped apart so I'll have much less extra detail to take care about, thankfully! And next time he will have his dick out as well!However, I still decided to walk an extra mile and made a complex edit where Fox's uniform gives up under the growing pressure and rips apart even further which is actually a good connection between part 1 and upcoming part 2. Gave some good potential for more intense farting and burping alts as well! The dirty archive is very small here, it's just green recolors of cleaner fart versions which follow the canon of the Mario Galaxy more properly, I just thought some of you might need it a bit filthier.That's all for now. Sorry again for being such a sluggish piece of shit, I don't know what's wrong with me and why days are passing by so damn fast and I just don't have time to make much progress but I'm really trying my best. There's still 9 days before June and hopefully I'll be able to deal with this sequence in time.PS:Just in case, I know Fox should be more of a shortstack, he looks taller than he should here because I wanted his entire body to swell and enlarge in unnatural way just like Yoshi does when he swallows the blimp fruit.
