Well, I have a few interesting updates for you all!
Firstly, I've been getting back to work as of late as I've been tied up recently, more on that below.I wanted to whip up another addition to the Good Blueberry Sequence, but I wasn't sure where to put it in the sequence.Originally it was going to be a bit of an intro, where just her face and torso were turning blue, but after some toying around, I blew her up a bit, and loved the result!This went through a lot of changes, and didn't originally start at this angle, or with the man in the photo grabbing her face, but instead an overhead shot as an intro, but slowly evolved into this after I was inspired by this piece on Twitter.https://x.com/Angeltights/status/2054661636363862236?s=20
I also completely reworked Caroline's hair and eyebrows, and really focused on the lighting for this shot.The hair is still a bit of a work in progress, but I feel it suits her better than the old cut did, I'll be showcasing these changes in a follow-up post here soon.
Okay, the big announcement now...
I am now a father!Me and my wife just had our little bundle of joy not too long ago, and it's been a bit of a rollercoaster, but we're getting the hang of it so far!My big absences were mostly related to our lil baby and moving, and now that they're here, I've been focusing most of my attention on our little bundle of joy!I've been able to get some good work in though, and part of that work is what you're seeing above!The baby and us have all been doing great, it's not without it's up's and down's, but it's been an incredible ride so far!
This isn't changing anything regarding my work here, I'm still in this for the long run, and I'm still committed to bringing you the best CG blueberry content you can find!I truly apologize for the delays on my animations as of late, but now you have an idea of where I've been if it seems like I haven't been too active lately.
Simulation is still a bit of a hurdle for the Pear Animation, but as always, I feel like I'm making good progress on it, and might even do a more in-depth write up so you understand the troubles I'm facing, and how I'm trying to solve them.The Re-Embarrassed Remake has been a bit lower on my to-do list as I wanted to focus on this newer sequence to bring you all something fresh, rather than an updated, animated version of an older piece. It's still something I'm doing, it's just lower on my priorities as of right now, unless you all really, really want it before everything else.
I truly appreciate the patience you've all shown me, and I really appreciate the kind words you've all left on my recent posts about it. I'm trying to get more done, but as always, you can't rush art.
I also wanted to bring up a bit of a milestone I'm super proud of.Caught in the Act is now the highest liked blueberry focused inflation piece (that I know of) on DeviantArt!Caught in the Act surpassed Code Blue for not only my most liked piece, but this super awesome milestone not that long ago, and it's still doing numbers.
I'm really glad you all absolutely loved it, and I hope my next animations bring that same level of enjoyment, as they continue to improve with each subsequent release!
