JUST IN TIME! I hope... Yeah, I really wanted to get a Mistletoe-related Audio out before the end of the year. This one gave me a bit of trouble- which I'll talk about more below in the technical section of this- but for now, you're here for my blurb of the Audio as a whole itself!
So, first off this is the Professor. Kind of? Maybe? I'm not entirely sure. It doesn't really fit the whole "Professor" profession y'know. But as a character-related scene, this fits his kind and caring demeanor the most. I know I've mentioned this before about feeling boxed in when it comes to making some Audios so I did decide to name this just a "Boyfriend" Audio instead, ^^;
But yes, the scene does go about what I thought was an extremely sweet and caring moment! Initially this was supposed to be a "Picking you up" kind of Audio where you get y'know... picked up from your place and then seeing how absolutely drop dead hot you were- things go spicier ;)... But if I recall we already had a similar Audio with the Mafia Boss a long while ago. I could be wrong though or I could be misremembering.
Regardless, I wanted to change it up! Having him put a coat on you. Hug you from behind, etc. I won't spoil it too much though! You'll have to listen to the Audio ;)
Now- technical aspects of this. OOOOHHH BOY- so. I recently reset my PC to try to fix some of the issues that I was having at the start of the month. Only recently did I realize because of this Audio that my recording setup was actually messed up. Yeah. Windows automatically activated "Enhanced Audio" setting with "Voice Clarity" as the setting and it basically just completely tried to remove the breathiness and grumble of my voice. It's like noise reduction basically!
It's why I did that quick little bonus Duo Audio before this one.
Anywho- actual technical aspects of this... OH BIG ONE! This is the very VERY first Audio where I tried to do a smash cut. I've always been very unsure of using time skips or transitions in my Audios except for some "Long" spicy sessions. But I have always wanted to kind of implement them too? Because there's scenarios where a bigger change in venue or location- or perhaps a literal time skip could benefit the scene. This one being one of them.
And honestly, it was really fun to do! It wasn't anything crazy- but imagining the scene playing out like a movie where it cuts to being pushed up against the wall is kinda... fun? Hot? heh. If this Audio gets a good reception- I'll implement more of it or try to experiment more with it in the coming 2026!
Another thing that I played around with the Volume a bit to get it in line for a better varied array of sound devices. What did I just say/type??? I mean to say that I'm trying to find the happy medium of Volume where it sounds good regardless of if you have headphones or earbuds or even speakers ( Though I heavily don't recommend speakers. )
There's also Audio bias! I normally try to make my Audios as "Realistic" as possible minus some SFX where I make it more movie-like to really sell the fantasy. So I thought that it might be fun to try to do that for the Audio Bias too! Specifically with the hugging you from behind section! It wasn't anything crazy really- I just made it less binaural than it would've realistically sounded. Basically moving the character's voice more towards your front to keep it clear.
Heh- But yeah. I do want to say thank you for your understanding with my content recently ^^; It's not easy doing pretty much all the work on the Audios, between Research, Script Writing, Recording, Editing, etc. Pair that with the fact that I really do NOT want to post an Audio for the sake of posting an Audio and that I want to provide some of the most immersive pieces of content that I can. Well- yeah- it's taxing haha.
Especially when making creative content like this requires both inspiration and motivation. Two things that get hit hard when you're a perfectionist workaholic that can't work due to one reason or another ( Dum PC issues REEE ) that it spirals basically.
For 2026 though I am trying to streamline things a bit better and also cheer meself up :>
