Hello! Azeru Official here and we're back with my AU take on Genshin Impact's Varka~! Varka x Listener | Boyfriend x Listener | Dom x Listener | Genshin Impact x Listener | Soft Dom x Listener

VARKA IS FINALLY HERE WOOO!! I'll be pretty honest that as far as gameplay and characters go, he's one that I'm actually excited for! ( Still hoping for an OP Capitano or Pantalone. ) Like, he just looks fun to play! Kind of reminds me a bit of Diluc! I personally like more technical characters... granted Diluc's "Technical" part is just changing up his combo.

But, as far as this Audio goes- more experimentation that I'll blabber on about down below, but for now if you aren't too familiar with Varka, think of him as a giant doggo. He's gruff, rough, but almost always seemingly happy, charismatic, dependable. He's like literally realistic husbando material. In a way. Not in the same vein as Sylus or Pantalone would be, but like- he seems fun? I guess?

Oh, and he likes to drink. Not too much, but an enjoyable pint every so often! And if I were to kind of focus in on a trait of his, I think he's just secure. Like, extremely secure with himself. A feature that you might not necessarily think of first with characters, but because of his security and confidence in himself, he really exudes that good leader trait- y'know? I mean- he is also pretty capable and charismatic.

But with this Audio, I did want to portray his more flirty side with you~ :>... he is a man afterall!! But because I think he's more of an upstanding kind of guy, I wanted to give you some initiative with your interactions with him. Kind of like with Diluc and Al Haitham! Though just like those characters, as I make more Audios- I'll progress the story to the point where he'll begin to initiate more ;)

Technical wise, oooh boy. I increased the volume across the board again to give you the option to lower or increase it on your end instead of being locked into requiring the Audio to be maxed out at all times! Still needs some tweaking though because unlike last time where I just gave it a flat out +3 db during editing, this time I did it view my DAC.

Another technical aspect of this that I've been focusing on a ton is SFX! I did a TON of foley work to make his armour sound nice throughout this entire Audio. Even through the spicy parts!

It wasn't easy. Having to balance out subtle movements that won't make as much clinking with bigger movements. But I think overall it came out really nice and realistic! Not too over the top but not too subtle! Like it's always noticeably there!... and personally I really really liked it. I thought it sounded pretty cool o -o... Armour and weapon SFX are cool and fun to play with even if they are really difficult to work with!

I may have bitten off more than I could chew recently with work. Song cover is at least done, and stream stuff is back on schedule! Been a bit sick but I didn't want to delay this Audio any further than I needed to ^^;... I want to keep up with the 1 Audio a week until I can power through with 2 again!
