Hello! Azeru Official here and we're back with my AU take on Genshin Impact's Lohen ~! | Lohen x Listener | Boyfriend x Listener | Dom x Listener | Switch x Listener | Yandere x Listener

Guess who's on a roll? I'm on a roll. ROLL HARDER! But yes, Lohen is finally out and with him a very unhinged character trailer! Actually one of the more fun ones that I've seen as of recent- so much so that it also inspired me to make this Audio!

Yep- that's right. This Audio is loosely based off of that Trailer- though to be fair whenever I make any kind of Audio- I do my best to base it off of a canon scene or event to ensure that the essence and the reason that you like the character stays with the character. If that makes sense? Like I don't want to just bastardize a character and turn them into something completely different just so I can say that I made an Audio of them-... though granted yes- the spice is probably teetering that line :)

Anywho, Audio does feature some really fun and SFX and voice work! I won't spoil anything too much, but let me tell you that this Audio is almost on par with the Boothill Audio we did a while back. Lots of fun SFX and a talking style that I'm not really too used to.

Like- Lohen speaks in a very playful way and at times he even sound very sing-song-ey? ( Did I use that term right? As in he goes high pitched then down, etc. Fitting for his unhinged-ness. )

Technical wise, I had to really lock in with his characterization in this one. Like the amount of warmup I needed to do was a lot more than I normally do. Now I will say that once I got into the flow-state, it felt really good! It's one of those reasons why I do genuinely think that the way that I record Audios affords me a level of immersion that's just not possible with cut-and-edit recordings. I'm basically method acting a scene!

Huh- yeah. I'm just basically method acting.

Ahem.

As far as the SFX goes, like I mentioned above, this Audio is similar to the Boothill Audio I did a while back, and if you liked the SFX in this one, I highly recommend checking that one out too! Plus the Boothill Audio was pretty fun to listen to- in my humble opinion.

I'm getting side tracked. SFX wise again, I played around with a ton of new SFX that I think really made a lot of the Audio feel more interesting. Lots of subtle revolver movements, nicer footsteps. Heck I even added a droning sound as if you were in a dungeon or locked cell with him!... Maybe a little ominous to listen to, but it really set the atmosphere!

Another thing that I experimented with is the wetness. Going with the SFX of the Special Bonus Audio, I tried to do it differently. Though that difference is honestly hard to notice overall. But again, most of my Audios focus on details. Immersion. Quality. I refuse to skip steps.

Oh, if you are new here as well, you should know that I edit my Audios in much smaller segments compared to others. I literally go through it in 5-10 second segments. Short enough that I can really focus in on each moment. But long enough that there's good context around it... why is that so special you might wonder? Well, generally speaking most everyone else just slaps on a background ambience and maybe adds in some overt SFX that the character does. I pay attention to even small details like shifting in their seat mid-sentence, the subtle movement of their body as they react to your answer, the slight creak of the wood, direction of the sounds, etc.

tl;dr, I put a ton of thought and effort into each Audio- and I refuse to lower that quality!
