This year my Patreon page has been growing incredibly fast. But expenses have been growing too. Now a few of my hosting providers have announced they are raising prices because of the electricity crisis in Europe. I would eventually like to work on pixeldrain full time but to do that the project would need to generate at least €2000 per month in profit.
With all that in mind I am considering making the €4 tier the cheapest tier. I want to keep the €2 around for people who are already subscribed, but new users would have to pay €4.
I am inclined to just try it out for a month or so, if the growth slows down significantly during this period I would know that it's not worth it. But if growth slows down very little that would be a strong indicator that pixeldrain is, in fact, too cheap.
Now my question is: Would you have paid for pixeldrain if it cost €4 instead of €2?
I would love to hear your opinions and ideas!
