You will be changed... for bad?
An entire year has gone by since Wicked caused a rift amongst the Showmen, but the film adaptation of the second act of the stage musical, Wicked: For Good, is here to either bring them back together or tear them apart once and for all...
Double the length of act 2 of the stage production but refusing to flesh out any of the rushed parts and instead wasting that time on original songs that will not win them the Oscars they were written for, this movie is a goof fest from start to finish... but it's not totally the fault of the film production. Whether you've experienced it for yourself or heard it from others, act 2 is an insane mess, and attempting to adapt it into a movie was sort of an impossible task.
Hey, at least it made for a super fun commentary track! Which btw is full of spoilers, so be warned if you have yet to see the movie or the stage show.
Close your eyes, tap your heels together three times, and think to yourself... there's no place like Wicked: Part One.
PS. Pay no attention to that roll of paper towels... (it's NOT toilet paper, I swear!)
