Happy Richard Kuly!!! In this first (and last) observance, Miles & I will be watching all three movies in the directorial filmography of Richard Kelly: Donnie Darko, Southland Tales, and The Box... but because he really peaked with his first film, we will be watching in reverse order to build up to the big one. Finally, to wrap up the festivities, we will watch the straight-to-DVD Donnie Darko sequel that Richard Kelly has nothing to do with and neither Miles nor myself have ever dared watch!
We also dropped a brand new highlight video for Independents' Day with Benji & Rizzo of The Pink Popcast, and they dropped a video on their channel that I joined them for in which we watched Legally Blondes (note the 's' at the end of that title...)
And that's not all! I was on this week's Perfect Person Platinum and Miles, Ashleigh, & I discussed Wangers Karaoke a bit (fun fact: Miles' producer Ashleigh filled in last minute for a camera op who bailed!) before calling back someone who left a voicemail about poop over a year ago. One of my fav PPP eps I've been on, don't miss it!
