After 2 years or so, I have FINALLY finished this Pikmin fanart! OTL
I love this game so much, but drawing strange looking dogs and carrots with legs is way out of my comfort zone π
But for once, delaying this piece worked in my favor because 2 years ago I would have never dreamed about painting in one layer. And I think using this rendering method worked really well this time. Especially to draw the grass. It was tough to mix all the different green tones, but it also felt more natural than separating all of them in different layers.
π Have you played any Pikmin games? (If you haven't I really recommended giving them a try! It's a great balance between cozy and strategy games xD)

We're going to study how to draw faces! And after we get familiar with the structure of the face/head, next month we'll work on face expressions. Does that sound good to you?
