It's just about April! The flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and the terrifying skeleton ballistas are ballista-ing. Let's see how March went!
Songs of the Spellbound Sea: Boooks! By which I mean, most backers should have them! I've gotten receipt confirmations from every corner of the globe at this point; the majority of physical rewards have reached their destinations. I expect (but can't confirm without tediously checking every tracking number individually) that all orders for the US and UK are fulfilled, and we're probably pretty close to that for EU and Canada. Contact me if your order has gone missing or arrives damaged, and I'll work on getting it fixed. [email protected] is the best way, just to make it easier to track, but any channel is okay.
Post-Campaign Survey: This is big, people! I've put together a short survey now that Spellbound Sea's mostly delivered, to ask folks what went well, what went poorly, and what I should change for the next one. This is huge! Very useful and very important to me. So please check it out and let me know how I can do better!
Machines of Bone and Blood: We should be getting the updated cover very soon, after which time I'll start posting updates.
Patreon: Good growth this month! A good number of new backers. Patreon also rolled out their own Twitter clone ("Quips"), which is a little silly, but undeniably is getting more eyes on my stuff, so I'm a fan.
Discord: Passed the 700 mark, which is nice.
Troubadour, Swashbuckler, Bloodrager: No updates this month.
Necromancer: I'm slowly working on the next base-class update, should have something out this month. Not a huge update, though.
Abomination: We got v0.8! Including the Nature of Blood subclass and some refinements to the base and existing subs.
Subclasses: I posted the Oath of Denial Paladin yesterday! And as a surprise, I got a commission for the Mesmerist Rogue, a partial psion that uses my own Mesmerism (illusion) discipline.
Supporters saw book previews this month for the College of Poetics Bard and the Way of the Rotting Hand Monk! Supporters on Discord also saw a the Path of the Machine-breaker Barbarian, but I haven't put it up on Patreon yet because it needs some refinement.
North Africa Culture Pack: Last month's supporter vote winner was a culture pack, which I focused in on the Tuareg people! One weapon, two monsters, and four magic items inspired by Tuareg myths.
Species: Nothing new this month. I could see making a species out of the Eljinen stat block included in the culture pack, though.
Design Notes: I was early with the Design Notes this month! That never happens. Take a deep-dive into monk design and monk damage math (warning: so much math.)
What's going to blow in on the April breezes?
Kickstarter: Physical rewards should finish shipping (and replacements should start shipping for the folks who need them). Hopefully I can finally get the art book wrapped.
MB&B: I'm going to be putting a lot more energy into setting up the new campaign; a lot of invisible stuff (marketing), but there should also be a steady pace of continued previews for supporters.
Polls: Polls are up for one more day, as usual! Our general subclass poll right now has a strong lead for the Voltblade Fighter. Our supporter-only poll this month is another sub for my classes! Currently a tie between the Forgesinger Troubadour and Skirmisher Bloodrager, but three more subs are just one vote behind so still very swingable.
