May has come to a close! It's officially the start of summer, and very soon I'll have some big news for you. But first we've got a monthly roundup!
Songs of the Spellbound Sea: Wrapped! The digital art book went out, which was the last remaining item. This is the last time we'll be seeing this on the roundup!
Machines of Bone and Blood: Prelaunch growth has been steady and strong since last month; right now we're at just over 1350 followers. In substantive updates, we've got the cover nailed down, the art team cranking away, the editors starting work, and I've been putting time in both on preparing more content and getting ready for launch.
Patreon: Continuing to grow! Free followers really do seem to just show up all the time, which is delightful.
Discord: A surprising amount of growth here lately; unfortunately also several spammers, but that tends to come with the territory.
Troubadour, Swashbuckler, Bloodrager: Nothing new this month, though I did get some playtest data on the most recent subs.
Necromancer: Quiet on this front; a few small changes that'll show up in the MB&B sample doc but nothing huge.
Abomination: Abomination v0.11 saw some significant frenzy rebalance and the Nature of the Qilin!
Subclasses: This month's was the Chained Patron Warlock, serving your need for terrible extraplanar prisons. Supporters got the College of the Wildwood Bard, letting them tromp around in the forest while loudly singing!
Design Notes: This month has a big notes-a-palooza, with 2 parts of a planned 4-parter on how to write spellcasting features for subclasses.
What can we look forward to in June?
MB&B: 💀
Polls: The current leader in our general subclass poll is the Way of the Beast monk, while supporters are voting on a species; currently a narrow lead for Clay Men but Rakshasa-kin and Ogres are close behind.
