Woof, almost missed this one! I seem to never be able to make any deadline on here but I think most of you don't mind it... I hope!
This month was pretty crazy! I switched jobs to something much better than my last one, and I already thought my last one was pretty good! Better hours, better pay, what's not to love?!
Well, there is an AI camera watching me at all times... but if you just ignore the red line that occasionally sweeps the cockpit and random beeps then it's all good!
I did a pretty crazy thing as well in terms of getting this job. Like flying on a plane for the first time in my life! Thought I'd honestly be able to go through life without doing it but I've done a complete 180 on airplanes! I wanna ride more of them because of how exhilarating they are, and my fear of heights kind of... abstracts when you're that high up into a kind of wonder? It's odd to explain.
I think had I kept my original job, March's story would've been out right now. I've just had to adjust my schedule, do these flights, and adjust to my new work week. But I'm done with orientation and my first work week so I hope from here on out, it's smooth sailing!
I must also say that my new and improved way of writing is a huge success. By recording my voice and transcribing later, I can... honestly get done with 5,000 word stories in around 30 to 40 minutes. Of course the edits required are MASSIVE. For some reason it keeps thinking I say Xi Jinping for a lot of words and I'm trying to figure out why but it takes my stories from 90% writing and 10% editing to 10% writing and 90% editing. The editing is very killer, but I find it much easier to edit than I do to write.
There is also a new story ready to upload, but I'm just waiting for the commissioner to give the go-ahead!
Other than that... I don't think I have much else to say? Grimshire was a game I binged for like two weeks during the month and it is simply wonderful. However, it is a game I would say to buy now, and only play when it's out of early access. It is GREAT now and I got 40 hours out of it but I feel like I wasted my first time experience when it would only get greater better. Think of the game as Stardew Valley but hectic as hell as you try to feed you and your fuzzy, furry villagers! There's also a surprising amount of customization options for your furry character, a lot more than I'd expect!
Other than that, I hope everyone is staying safe! I hope things will only get smoother from here!
