Here's a recap of what we did last month!Spooky season on YouTube began with Nosferatu and Escaping Abuse. The vibe shifted dramatically to Wolfwalkers with friend of the channel Rebecca Parham of Let Me Explain Studios. Our obsession with Crazy Rich Asians continued, as did our love for KPop Demon Hunters. And on Halloween, we covered the iconic Sanderson Sisters!Over on Patreon, we shared a super long and silly D&D session, GM'd by David. And Jono talked about how to manage fear and anxiety.CT took on NYC, with a panel at New York Comic Con! The panel was attended by around 400 people. We had a fan meetup at Hudson Yards and just hung out, got ice cream, and basically had a grand ol' time. We were blown away by the response and by the amazing people we met on our trip! For the first time, we did a "mini shoot." We tend to shoot every other month, but now that Jono is back in Utah, we can more easily shoot outside of that schedule as needed. When an awesome YouTube channel asked to collaborate with us, we shot a couple of episodes with them plus a few extras in mid-October.Cyranø was accepted into FilmQuest! It’s a small (though rapidly growing) genre festival, right here in our hometown of Provo, Utah! We screened in a block of short films, the room was packed, and we got all the big laughs we hoped for, along with lots of chuckles. Small, but gratifying.

Here's a sneak peek of what's coming next! The last shoot of 2025 is almost upon us! Where has the time gone!? Outside of a fun slate of episodes, we're brainstorming our end-of-year Grab Bag for Patrons. What do you want to see? A 2025 round-up kinda thing or anything goes? We want your input! We have completed the first draft of The Vessel! Which means it’s nowhere near done. We’re sending it out to some trusted friends (some of them are names you’ve heard before!) to get feedback before we tackle our second draft.

While that's happening, Megan and Alan are going to do a re-write of Ashes to Ashes to get it down to a shootable length. Then the pre-production process will begin. Alan will share an update to all CT Studios tiers in a few weeks. The short version is, no matter what happens with The Vessel, we’re making Ashes to Ashes in 2026. Probably early in the year!

We’re going to have a release party for Cyranø going live on YouTube sometime in the next couple weeks. You’ll all get advanced notice. We’ll have cast and crew members on hand for a live watch (as it drops on YouTube) and then a Q&A. We’ll be monitoring the Patreon chat, and answering questions from our Patrons during that. It’ll be awesome!

And finally: we’re going to do a live premiere of Monkey, Trailer, Man. The short film starring Alan, written by Bradley Olsen (director of photography and sometimes editor) and David Sant (editor and newly crowned Patreon producer!) More info coming soon on that.

Busy time for the studio! It’s exciting! After the November shoot, we're looking forward to Thanksgiving break with our loved ones. We're wishing fellow US folks a Happy Thanksgiving and the rest of you a happy normal month! How was your month? What are you looking forward to next month?
