Here's a recap of what we did last month! It was a short month, but a lot happened! First, we had a mini shoot. We didn't want to overload ourselves in January right after the winter break, so we gave ourselves a few extra weeks to do more prep. And to cover newer stuff, like Wake Up Dead Man!We toured in California! The LA and Berkeley live shows were such a blast. For those of you who attended, THANK YOU! We hope you had just as much fun as we did. (RIP the couch.) This was a test, to gauge if they're fun, sustainable, if folks will even show up. If we do more live shows, where should we go?Honestly, prep and travel for the live shows consumed a lot of February. But we also had a shoot to prep. Patrons voted for a tribute to Robin Williams video, so that's a unique one we're working on. Here's an emoji sneak peek of another episode we're working on: 🐜🐛🐞February's YouTube roster was, maybe for the first time ever, all live-action stuff! Around Valentine's Day, we covered Crazy, Stupid, Love and You've Got Mail, both classic romcoms. Then we had a wicked (😉) week discussing Elphaba and Glinda. We closed out the month with more Stranger Things, more masculinity chats, and more crying with Healthy Masculinity in STRANGER THINGS. Which video was your favorite?Over here on Patreon, we sorted famous fictional quartets by their personality types. Who knew there are so many fictional quartets?? In the spirit of Valentine's, Jono did a very personal deep dive on love lessons from his parents. Finally, we posted an exclusive episode on trauma responses in Stranger Things. Another Stranger Things-themed exclusive episode is in the works! We made good progress in CT Studios land! Alan had several meetings in LA talking about producing and distribution partners for The Vessel. David, Megan, and Alan closed in on another draft of the script, and there will be a related, fun development in March - see below!
Here's a sneak peek of what's coming next! The March shoot will be a big focus. It's the quiet time between the start of the year and the madness of school spring-time activities. Time to lock in (are people still saying that?) and get to work! For CT Studios, we're going to have a live table-read (with some familiar faces!) on March 14th (details for Studio Execs coming, BTS coming a bit later for everyone else). And we're going to shoot Frostbite shortly after! It's our little film short. Should be a great time with a (mostly) CT crew and the Seawright family all trying to scare the crap out of each other! How was your month? What are you looking forward to next month?
