Here's a recap of what we did last month!We had a shoot! It seemed like it was going to be a nightmare, having crammed prep between a mini shoot and the tour, but the magic on set was flowing. We had a great time and we (hopefully) made some great episodes for y'all.March was a big month for YouTube, featuring amazing guests like Joshua Doss for Sinners and Amanda Gorman for Zootopia 2! We explored El's hero journey and fate in Stranger Things. And we covered a lot of Disney: Abuela from Encanto, Gaston vs. healthy masculinity, and diagnosing Disney villains. Which video was your favorite?Over here on Patreon, we did a live Q&A from the March shoot set, took you along for the tour, and showed you what a script table read looks like. Studio Execs got to watch two livestreams and give input to our upcoming film projects: live reading The Vessel script and live on set of Frostbite.As you can tell from the livestreams, there was a lot of CT Studios action in March. Many CT and CT adjacent folks got together to do a table read of The Vessel script. We were nervous and excited beforehand, but it went well and we got great feedback! Frostbite was a ton of fun to shoot, and... we still don't know if it was any good, because we still won't get our film scans back for another week! (bites nails, twirls hair around ear, hums scales...)
Here's a sneak peek of what's coming next!In April, we'll compete draft 3 of The Vessel, get the film from the Frostbite shoot developed, and then get working on post!Exciting news for April: we're headed back to Pixar! We're talking to the filmmakers about Hoppers, and we're getting a preview of Toy Story 5! Look out for those episodes in the coming months.Besides the episodes we're shooting at Pixar, we're cooking up a bunch more for the next shoot.
