Here's a recap of what we did last month!Things are heating up. Literally, the temperature. Metaphorically, life is busy! We had a shoot in May, and while it went super well, we didn't finish all the prep we had planned. So we penciled in a mini shoot to tie up the loose ends.

Hello there! We surprise dropped an Obi-Wan Kenobi video on a Monday for May the 4th. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. You got a couple Pixar videos, one on A Bug's Life and one from Pixar on Hoppers! We learned about narcissism from Lex Luthor, and we learned how bonkers the parents are from The Parent Trap.
Over here on Patreon, Alan posted another CT Studios update. The latest exclusive episode is about Steve and Dustin's friendship in Stranger Things. And we shared a behind-the-scenes look and sneak peek on a fun Seawright family short film, Frostbite!
Speaking of CT Studios projects, David and Alan met for several hours to discuss the score for Frostbite. Of those several hours, nearly one was worthwhile discussion of what to do musically!

As many of you know, I was married before, a marriage which culminated several years ago in a healthy coparenting and working relationship. You can learn more on my other YouTube channel, Mended Light.Today I wanted to share my joy in finding love with Karlie and in blending our wonderful families. We've been dating for almost a year and married this past weekend! She is exceptionally kind, constantly makes me laugh, is intelligent, and good-hearted. She's also a huge geek like me so if you happen to ever see us at the movies, please say hello!I plan to keep my private life a little more private moving forward, but I did want to share a message of hope: whatever you are passing through, brighter days are ahead. I believe your joy is coming. Continue to grow, to practice empathy, and to act with integrity. I believe it will pay off. Healing and happiness are on the horizon. ❤️

🎬 CT Studios updates from Alan: On The Vessel front, there is a LOT happening!
We have a legal entity set up (an LLC) for the movie! This is an important step in being able to hire people, and get investment into the project!
We are completing our pitch materials and talking to investors in the next two weeks!
We have started working on our crowdfunding campaign (allowing fans to pre-buy blu-rays, get access to exclusive merch, and loads of other opportunities). This will also allow people to support just the one movie, instead of all y'all wonderful people here supporting the entire studio, and our YouTube channel's wild ambitions.
We're going out to potential CAST! This is honestly nerve-wracking for me. We're sending our script out into the Hollywood ecosystem to get agents to talk to their clients (MOVIE STARS!) to see if we can convince all of them to be in our little, very inexpensive, not high-paying movie.
We have our first musical sketchbook from our composer, Caleb Blood, with his ideas for several of the moods, situations, and characters of the movie. It's (surprise) incredible! I'm so much more excited to make a movie that will attempt to be worthy of this incredible music!
