Hi everyone!
We've been heads-down testing and polishing all previous week, so let's take a quick look at the news today and jump right into what's been happening!
Where's the new version at?
We just wrapped up the first major round of testing on the full build! Found a bunch of bugs and a few spots that need some extra polish or tweaking. And we're already on it: fixing, smoothing, polishing. Once we knock out the main stuff, we'll put together a fresh build and test it all over again.
But here's the thing, friends, we still need your eyes on this. Even the most polished version can have little sneaky issues hiding in plain sight. So when the time comes, we're counting on you to help us catch 'em!
Visual Goodies
While fixing things up, we're also giving the game a nice little beauty treatment. We gave the resource boulders (the ones dropping copper, iron, stone) a fresh look, and created new textures on those old wooden structures around the map. We've also been playing around with new palm trees and lighting effects in test mode, hoping to add them to the game real soon! And that's just the tip of the iceberg!
What's cooking for Chapter 5?
We're prepping a place for our adorable cow girls' future home in the Valley, and yep, you'll be building it in Chapter 5! Right nearby, Meadow's forge and something like Lily's lab will also be taking shape. These new buildings will unlock fresh possibilities, like crafting tools and weapons at Meadow's forge!
Interactive Hot Scene
We're cooking up something spicy for Chapter 5! The idea? A minigame where Lee will do sweet naughty things with Lily, all while trying not to get caught by Meadow. We've never done anything quite like this before, so it's a challenge, but we're really hoping we can pull it off!
Fish Gallery
That's right, we're making a fish gallery! The core mechanic is already in place and now we're brainstorming the best way to bring it to life in the game. We've got some pretty different ideas floating around, each with its own fun twist.
In short, work is in full swing! We're so close to release and we're not slowing down one bit. Just a little more patience and it'll be here!
