This is an adventure that takes players from Level 1 to Level 3 over the course of five or six sessions. From a chance encounter in a zombie-infested farm to a thrilling showdown amid crumbling clifftop ruins, the party will need to fight a range of enemies, recover a stolen crown, and find out who is pulling the strings behind the scenes.
The PDF comes with seven battle maps, stat blocks, and a detailed step-by-step walkthrough of the plot.
This is a really classic adventure, but it was a fun one to write. My goal was to create a "starter" story, the sort of thing that could kick off a longer campaign, or stand alone as a self-contained story. I also tried to get a good atmosphere going throughout, with lots of gloomy, haunted locations and a big, high-intensity showdown at the end.
