This is the story board for the teaser of our first major project to revitalise my main youtube channel - in this post youl see the story boards and the directions given for our animators working on this:Directions: Panel 1: Establishing long shot, slow zoom on pedastal with sarcophagus ontop of it, Lit by torches either side Panel 2 : Birds eye shot - slowly rotating - aditionally would need a shot of the lid partially open, then fully open with the contents completly in shadow and the lid slung to the side
Panel 3: Mid shot - Makari Lurches up gasping
Panel 4: slightly closer mmid shot - Makari rubbing her head in confusion / groggy Panel 5: Distanced birds eye shot - giving sense of scale with camera rotating
Panel 6: Full body shot - Makari having stood up in her sarcophagus looking around in the darknes
Panel 7: Over the shoulder close up shot, Makari looking behind her - Empty space to translate into next shot
Panel 8: Panel 7 continued - Black space flames illuminate in distance drawing Makaris eyes (Maybe extra panel of close up of Makaris eyes squinting)
Panel 9: Flames lighting up the darkness illumnating the Warframe logo covered in cobwebs and dust
Panel 10: Close up - Makari screaming ala Aqua meme scream
Panel 11: Long shot of Makari running out through an open door
Aditional notes:
The animation style will be similar to what we will do for the major project, Key frames of major poses and smaller secondary actions given sudo animation with a couple extra frames - this will allow us to economic with time spent per scene, the idea is to tell a story not anime everything flawlessly, should budget allow later down the line the animation process will become more refined later. for now the focus is on story
The art style will be a simplified allowing for more economic use of time, In a similar example given below - we will need to get across form and shape as priority not worrying too much about detail, Makari and hence other character outfits and concepts will have simple outfits but still give across a form of what their wearing.
Shots will be made as static shots with consideration given for camera movements made later in the pipeline. with characters as separate assets to allow for editing in post production - allowing for additional movement and animation on top of the characters movement for secondary actions.
