I will warn you all, wormhole gates in this setting are basically just a magic teleporter. They exist because they are my chosen method of cheating the speed of light, and the guidelines of their behavior were determined by the kind of narrative I wanted to write. So if you ask me questions like "what about time dilation" the answers are going to be things like "I would rather eat glass than write about time travel."
