The Quiet City is growing
Hey everyone,
after a very busy couple weeks with several cons and shipping playing card decks out to my ~600 Kickstarter backers, the Quiet City is finally growing again!
And it's growing indeed! in the second month I was able to send over 100 Tarot letters out into the world, which just felt awesome! I'm glad this project is resonating so well with a lot of people, and I feel like we're building something fun and meaningful together.
That's why I actually picked the Three of Pentacles for my second card (instead of the Eight of Cups that I had originally planned to do next):
This card's meaning is all about collaboration and working together towards a shared goal, and I felt like it was a perfect match!
Two days ago, I finished the third card: The Page of Swords. It introduces the Swords suit and continues telling the story of The Map. Art Club members will learn more about the meaning in my letter.
Now that more cards are added to the big picture, my whole concept of connecting the single cards to a large scene makes more sense. Here on the left you can already see previews of two of the next cards, as the city literally grows:

One note: This month is the last chance to subscribe from the start! You can always select to start your subscription with the very first letter (Queen of Pentacles), to collect the complete season. However from next month on, I will cancel this option. I'm simply running out of Queen of Pentacles prints, and it's a growing amount of work to organize the different cohorts each month, so I decided to close that window now.
New Fanart
I didn’t make any dedicated fanart in a long time, probably at least 3-4 years. However lately, I've gotten into the mood to make a little series of art for Anime that I admire. Here's the results: Isometric Naruto and Frieren artworks!
