Hey guys,
I'm creating lots of art right now, unfortunately most of it is work under NDAs, so I got to patiently wait to reveal it. Of course you'll be the first, as always! I have some finished new work, and some WIP shots for you though!
Elixir
Elixir, the latest addition to the Electric Bazaar series, is fully animated and equipped with sound now. It's going to drop as a collectible edition of 100 tonight on Foundation, here's the link. This series continues to be lots of fun, and I hope to maybe add some more of these in 2024.
Universal Music/Lola
Remember the WIP I shared with you some weeks ago? The artwork for the Lola Collective is now fully done and will also be animated next. Here's the complete scene:
Serif/Affinity
Did any of you ever work with Affinity? I didn't, but Serif (the company releasing it) asked me if I wanted to try it for one of my next artworks. I told them that I'd love to give it a shot for the next piece of the Japan Days series, and now I'm currently working on it. I want to do a more rural landscape this time, compared to the urban scenes from before. Here's my scribble and current state of outlines for this piece:
I'm also recording my process on this, and will release a walkthrough video soon. Affinity is quite great btw (lucky me so I don't have to pretend having fun with shit software).
Grist.org
Grist.org is an online magazine, focusing on stories about a positive future connected to climate and justice. They're holding a short story contest, and asked me to illustrate three of the entries. What a great gig! I just wanted to share my scribbled ideas for the stories. Can't wait to turn theminto illustrations and show them to you along the stories behind these.
That's all for today - quite the mix, huh? Thanks for reading!
CheersStefan
