It's a lot of fun to have a more prominent female character in this comic because she opens up more clothing possibilities, I figured she'd be dressed to impress for the occasion. We also get a clear look at her and Xavier's height difference here. Speaking of which, I made it so the point of view angles on the bottom two panels invert the height difference between Boomer and Xavier, with Xavier seen from a lower angle and Boomer from a higher angle. Boomer looking to the side works to mask both his nervousness and the fact that he'd have to look down.
I wanted to put some silly name for the restaurant on the awning but I couldn't come up with anything good, to be honest. I asked around for some funny names in French, they didn't end up working for me, and after I made a couple more pages and they end up ordering Italian food I figured it wouldn't work. So eh. If I come up with anything good between now and an eventual physical release I'll put it up there.
