DESCRIPTION
I couldn't not make this joke, it was inevitable. I've done something similar years ago in the "Miles meets Zoomer" strip so this is an inversion from that. I wasn't sure if I was going to include this now or later but I did a small rewrite after shuffling the panels for the three previous pages around and figured this is a good spot to slot it in.
I feel like the page is on the verge of being too crowded but i didn't have room to split pages again, it will make sense soon.
One thing we see in the last pair of panels is a repetition on Xavier being seen from a low angle while Boomer is seen from a high one in spite of their height difference, this way one looks dominant and offended and the other looks shy and embarrassed.
