Over the past month, an artist has been illustrating tons of characters for the official website!
I often use the Characters page of the official website as a way to communicate important aspects of the game's lore/backstory that, otherwise, the player would never get an opportunity to learn. This is not the case for every character - but, when it is the case, I put a lot of time and effort into crafting that character's profile.
Because it can be somewhat time-consuming to write character profiles, it can be hard to find the right time to do so - especially when I feel like I should be prioritizing game development progress and not character profiles.
As a result, a lot of finished character illustrations have been piling up, just waiting for me to have enough spare time to write their profiles and add them to the official site. I feel guilty about it! Hopefully, I will find the time to post all of them to the official website before the month is over.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these previews of illustrations to come!
(P.S. - I'm not saying, "I wish I had someone to write character profiles for me." I enjoy writing character profiles tremendously, and I wouldn't want anyone else to be in charge of what lore goes in there.)
