To be fair though, these vending machines can be surprisingly loud sometimes. And as this is a pretty tense situation, it's understandable that Diamond is a little jumpy.
Also, I accidentally gave that background character the same clothing palette as Selene from Pokemon Sun & Moon. I was just fiddling with the hue slider, and it ended up like that. XD
