Here’s the Bleeding Sun Penitent—a monster heavily inspired by the Repentia (I'm sure some people will catch that reference)
A zealot that thrives on suffering. It hovers over the battlefield, bleeding itself to grow stronger.
Its blades curse the guilty—each cut costs its own blood, fueling its divine fury for the Bleeding Sun.
Their Pain is power.
I was thinking of making some foot soldiers with this concept (CR 1-2) but had too many ideas so I had to make a badder monster.
