Hello everyone,
Today, I am thrilled to introduce a brand-new subclass for those who want to smash through anything standing in their way: the Buried Titan Barbarian!
The inspiration fro this is from classic "sleeping giant" tropes and fallen ancient civilizations.
Characters that have awakened after eons to find that the world has built walls and kingdoms over their sacred grounds. They are often villains used in stories, but I thought they could also make for a fun character to play.
Instead of a monster, it's a barbarian who looks at a massive castle wall or a heavily armored knight and says, "This shouldn't be here, and I'm going to tear it down."
Here is a quick look at the features of this subclass:
Level 3: Prideful Ruin – Deal triple damage to objects and structures while raging, and temporarily reduce the AC of your enemies.
Level 6: Territorial Titan – Create difficult terrain around you and gain the ability to immediately move and strike Large or larger enemies that enter it as a reaction, and get better at tracking the fools who enter your territory without permission.
Level 10: Unbroken Glory – A feature to make you even more resilient.
Level 14: None Greater – This feature is the apex of your pride. You force nearby foes to make a saving throw or absorb their traits to increase your own size, Armor Class, saving throw proficiencies, or Strength.
