I wanted to speak to you today with complete transparency and sincerity.
Over the past few months (even years), I've dedicated myself fully to keeping this Patreon alive and regularly offering you quality content, reflecting the kind of work I love creating with you. Unfortunately, despite all my efforts and your invaluable support, the income generated here doesn't allow me to maintain sufficient financial stability to live decently from this activity.
To continue meeting my basic needs (rent, food, bills, etc.), I've made the difficult but necessary decision to accept a full-time job. This choice wasn't easy, but it had become unavoidable.
So, what does this mean for Patreon?
The content for February 2026 was fully finalized before my new job. You will therefore receive the usual content for this month. Thank you for your patience.
Starting in March 2026, my productivity will inevitably decrease. I won't be able to maintain the same pace or output.
Therefore, there will be a (temporary) pause on my compositions, as they are very elaborate and time-consuming.
For the time being, I'm returning to simpler illustrations, which are quicker to create, while remaining true to the universe and style you know.
Regarding the Deep Forest University comic, I will have to temporarily reduce the format to one page per month (instead of the previous pace). This will allow me to continue the story without abandoning it completely, while respecting my new time constraints.
To choose the character or theme for the next simple illustration, I will launch a new poll very soon. Your votes will help me prioritize what you would like to see.
I remain extremely involved in this project and our community. This Patreon exists also (and above all) thanks to you. Your support, messages, and encouragement have always been and remain very important to me.
I don't yet know how long this lighter period will last. It will depend on several factors (career changes, fatigue, finances, etc.). But I promise to be honest and keep you updated on any improvements or changes.
