The cover for the next Pinwheel entry, Knights of Jakkar, is finished!
A member of a Jakkari assault unit removes her helmet onboard an Anzud-64 dropship, bound for the surface of some distant, embattled planet. Her armor is weathered and chipped from countless deployments, but it's built to last, and she trusts it to hold together. Upon one shoulder are her unit markings, and upon the other, a tally of confirmed kills. As the troop bay lighting flushes blood red, she knows that the cycle will soon begin again.
It was really cool to go through the whole design process on the species, armor, equipment, weapons, etc, and have it all come together in one cover. There's so much detail and so much work packed into this, and so many people contributed to bringing them to life. Gungulon did the original concept some two years ago, Oouna refined that into the new reference sheet, and SickJoe worked on all of their tech and weapons. They're almost ready for launch, and they'll be debuting soon!
