Borealan Concept Art

Oouna is back with an updated concept art and reference sheet for the Borealans featuring the Elysians, the Rask, and the Araxie.

Much like with the Valbaran sheet previously, we wanted to update the designs and give them a more realistic grounding, all without diverging too far from established works or breaking canon. It’s really great to have finally cemented their look and unified all of the different races under a single cohesive style that gels with the rest of the setting. It’s been a long time coming and Oouna has really excelled here. We have some fan-favorite characters, some refined classics, and a few brand new surprises to help diversify the number of variants and features.

This was an absolutely titanic undertaking, and we’ve ended up with a ton of different poses, variants, and characters. I think it serves as a great birthday celebration for Pinwheel, which will be ten years old in August!
