After the previous chapter, I was planning on taking a little break and working on chapter 3 at a slower pace... and as per usual, restraint failed me. Anyway: in this chapter, we see Kione struggling with the aftermath of what she's learned about Sartha. Guilt-ridden, she vows restraint - but fate, her own flaws, and even Sartha herself all same to conspire to drag her over the edge...
